Candlemaking - Wick Holder...

A cheap and easy way to hold your wicks in place is to use popsicle sticks. All you need to do is:

  • Prepare Popsicle Sticks - Drill holes in each popsicle stick by making sure the hole is centered. If you are double wicking, you can drill two holes in the center of your popsicle stick, but make sure you leave the same amount of room between wicks as you did with your Jar Template.

  • Position Popsicle Sticks - Once your jar is wicked, you can lay the popsicle stick flat across the top of your jar. Pull the wick through the hole you created and bend the wick over to keep in place. You can pour your wax into your jars with these already in place.
